    Blogmas Update

The blogmas challenge is nearly completed! My goal was to post everyday from December 1st up to December 25th and while I still have a couple more days before this challenge is finished, I wanted to take some time to reflect on my posts up to this point. So this post should be post #23 (because today is the 23rd of December), but actually it is post #13. I fell off my blogmas wagon a couple of days here and there due to a severe illness my son was suffering from. I tried to post sporadically during his sickness, but it became too much at the time when I needed…

    Reflecting on 2018

As the year draws closer and closer to the end with each passing day, I can’t help but to review how much my life and my world have changed in 2018. My Favorite Time of the Year

You all already know the popular saying that this time of the year is “the most wonderful time of the year.” I recently met with a friend of mine over dinner and drinks and learned that she can’t wait until the holidays are over and this made me a little sad inside. While I understand that there are MANY people out there who can’t stand the holiday time (and I whole heartedly acknowledge how they feel),…

    My First Blogmas

Happy December!???????????? I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving holiday and enjoyed all things fall had to offer this year. I’m stoked that Christmas is just around the corner! Christmas is my favorite time of year, but even better this year is the fact that I get to see the holiday magic through my toddler’s eyes! Also new for me this Christmas is my ambition to take part in the popular “blogmas” series. Blogmas incorporates the holiday season into various blog posts, such as DIY Christmas gifts, Christmas traditions, hopes for the New Year, etc. The most ambitious part of it is that I will create and publish a post…

    My Blog

What drives a person to want to create their own blog and share things about their life with others? The truth is I really don’t know the answer to that. There are various reasons why someone would want to be exposed in letting others read about their life. For me, my reason for wanting to create this journal blog is so that I can express myself creatively and connect with my passion for writing. In the Beginning As a child, I remember sitting at my grandmother’s computer with a Word document up on the computer screen on various afternoons. I would sit for hours typing away. Usually, I would produce…
